Certification Test

I would like to reopen this topic because it is really confusing and the answer provided was unhelpful. I'm starting a new business, I'm not a programmer. Please make it extremely clear(like show me how to do it) what you want in your "Payload" code request because I'm not a robot and I'm not a coder.

Certification Test
Any chance someone could guide me through how to use the 'Certification Test'? It is the most, uh, interesting turing test I've ever encountered. Am I supposed to edit the text to make it a valid cert request?

Really lost here. I've entered my address info 3 times. The save button would be better named 'discard'.

Response

Ed - the default payload would work just fine. So, all you need to do is go to the certification page, enter your address, phone number and other required fields. Then click certify, then save.

"and other required fields" Seriously. Tell us what you want us to put there because we as your soon-to-be ex-customers don't like wasting our time. Thanks!

Re: Certification Test

1. Login to https://developer.payeezy.com

2. Go to Account --> Get certified.

3. Enter your current password

4. Under "Personal information" section, enter your address in the fields provided. All the required fields are marked with an asterisk.

5. Under the "Your app information" section, enter your choices for the questions "Who were you referred by?", "Target market" and "Tell us about your business".

6. Click certify.

7. Review the terms and conditions by clicking on "Terms and Conditions".

8. Check the box "I Agree to the Terms and Conditions".

9. Click Save.

Yeah, that's great and all, but I still get a

and a

{"correlation_id":"124.1461119485332","Error":{"messages":[{"code":"401","description":"Access denied"}]}}

Please consider this post as me contacting you. I'd also like some info on why the initial post of this forum topic is gone. Obviously it is something that potential users are having problems with.

I'm a developer and I need someone on the phone with me tomorrow fixing this problem. I'll also need the solution left right here in the forum so that other frustrated developers can see that they are neither crazy nor stupid, they are just dealing with at best a terrible UI and at worst a buggy interface.

Seriously - "Enter your current password to change the E-mail address. Request new password." I don't know what that is telling me. I'm not changing my email. Do I need to enter my password? Instructions above say yes. Name for me another UI that asks for a password a second time after login.

Re: Certification Test

Ed -

1. Regarding the "Oops...." message, I see that issue too and have sent it to the dev team to fix. Also, we will post here as soon as we identify and resolve the issue. I understand your frustration and we will try to resolve this as soon as we can. In the meantime, please reach out to our support team on phone at +1 855 799 0790 (US)  if you need immediate support.

2. We have not removed the initial post. The author of the first post in this topic was possibly referring to a different topic when mentioning "reopen".

3. My bad. The password is not required for the certification. I will edit my previous response. The password is required only if you wish to change the email address on your account.

Re: Certification Test

It worked. Please post this to the forum so that others will have some insight into what the problem is. Specifically, others with short first names.
~Ed

Hello Ed,

This is Rohit from the Payeezy team writing in continuation to the post in the developer forums - https://developer.payeezy.com/comment/941#comment-941

We have been working on the issue you mentioned regarding the certification of the developer account. We have identified the problem now. It was being caused because our API server required the First Name and Last Name to be at least 3 characters long. We understand that this is not right and we are in the process of fixing it so that only 1 character is required.

Since you have already created your account, in order to proceed, the workaround we have is that you make the First Name >3 characters in length by adding some random characters towards the end. And then proceed to certify. Do let us know if it worked.

Re: Certification Test

I am having the same issue, a 401 response when trying to certify my sandbox api. I have filled out all information, but it still fails. How can we fix this?

Re: Certification Test

Cooper - We will need to fix it from the back end. Our dev team is working on it as we speak. We will let you know once resolved.

Re: Certification Test

Is it fixed yet, because I'm trying to get certified, my first and last name are >3 characters and I'm still getting access denied. Not exactly confidence inspiring.

Re: Certification Test

The issue raised earlier in this thread has been resolved. We are experiencing a temporary server problem today and we are working to resolve it.
