GET Create Tokenize Method Sandbox Environment issue with auth value

I just realized that there seems to be some issue with the auth flag. I am using the payeezy_v3.2.js scripts CreateToken routine to submit test credit card data to return a tokenize card value. I noticed that part of code that creates the querystring part of the get request is setting auth to a value that never gets set. It seems auth is submitted as nothing, not true, not false. I then changed the routine to allow me to set the auth value correctly and did some tests. I found that when auth is set to false NO token value is return. Auth of false returns the card data back without a tokenized card value. I also found that when auth is set to true or any other value other than false a token value is returned. It really makes it hard to test the data returned when your not getting the data returned as expected.

auth description:
Possible values=true/false. False – gets you a FDToken without 0$ auth. The token generated is valid for "authorize", "purchase" and reversals ("capture", "void" or "refund/settled") transactions. ta_token parameter is mandatory for auth=false. Note: cvv check will not happen here and card information will not be validated. True-gets you a FDToken with 0$ auth. The token generated is valid for "authorize" payment transaction only.

Payload examples:
auth set to false payload returned, no token value:
Payeezy.callback({
"status":201,
"results":{"correlation_id":"228.1445357609148","status":"success","type":"FDToken","token":{"type":"visa","cardholder_name":"John Smith","exp_date":"1030"}}
})

auth set to true payload returned, notice token value included.
Payeezy.callback({
"status":201,
"results":{"correlation_id":"228.1445358416194","status":"success","type":"FDToken","token":{"type":"visa","cardholder_name":"John Smith","exp_date":"1030","value":"9675977610588291"}}
})

Hi Harley,

We just caught the issue on our end and we are working to resolve it. To clarify, ths issue is that the tokens are not being generated when auth=false. We understand that this impedes your work and we apologize. We will let you know once it is resolved.

Is auth's default behavior to return a true payload for any auth value other than false?

The default for auth is false.

This auth flag is driving me nuts. auth set to false returns the same token each time. auth set to true returns a new token each time. I'm told false is the default, but if I exclude the auth flag it still acts as if auth is set to true. If I set auth to some other value other than false it acts as if auth is set to true. Very confused.

Hi Harley,

The issue with the tokenization call is resolved. Please try now. The response should contain a token even when auth=false.
