How to define, which type payment getwaye should use?

Hello Experts.
One of my client want to integrate this payment getaway on his site. He provided the link of his merchant account on https://globalgatewaye4.firstdata.com/ but I found this https://developer.payeezy.com/ is more suitable to integration though I am not expert on this payment getaway integration. Getting confused about which one is best fit. Is there any relation between those two link? Whic one is for which purpose?

please help.

Regards
Hasan

Re: How to define, which type payment getwaye should use?

Hello Pothik,

What your client has sent you is the link to access the merchant account on the payment gateway. You can choose between two APIs to integrate to the gateway account - one is SOAP based (Web service API) and the other in REST based (Payeezy API).

Documentation for SOAP based - https://support.payeezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/204029989-First-Data-Payeezy-Gateway-Web-Service-API-Reference-Guide-

Documentation for REST based - https://developer.payeezy.com/docs-sandbox

Please review this FAQ for a list of differences. - https://developer.payeezy.com/faqs/i-am-using-soap-based-apis-connect-gateway-why-should-i-switch-using-payeezy-restful-apis

Re: How to define, which type payment getwaye should use?

Hello Rohit,
I am finally found REST is really handy but I am not getting suitable instruction about Recurring Payments in REST where client want to get the total payment in installment. Like if the total price is $20000 and number of installment is 20 then per installment is $1000. So from his site , he need to pass the first payment amount $1000 and number of Installment so that it becomes Recurring Payments.

Could you please advise about that.

Thanks in Advance.

Hasan

Re: How to define, which type payment getwaye should use?

Hello Hasan,

Currently we do not have the capability to create recurring payment plans on our end via the APIs. It is only possible via our gateway's virtual POS interface.

However, if you can create and manage the payment plan on your end, then you can send us a separate payment transaction for each installment. And in each transaction, you will use the eci_indicator flag to denote that they are installments.
