Invalid ApiKey problems

I've inherited a billing system using payeezy that was tested with only an all-sandbox setup, in which it works. Since I've taken over we've added a merchant, and trying to use the new token and keys is responding with oauth.v2.InvalidApiKeyForGivenResource, even when using the sandbox tool here on the site. It seems I'm missing something, but I can't figure out what I'm missing. Here's what I've done:

1) The merchant has been boarded, and I have the token.
2) I created a live API (with and without an entitlement set), and have the key and secret.
3) Entered those into the respective boxes in the sandbox.
4) Invalid api key

Any help?

Edit:
This is using the transactions api.

When using the default apikey on the sandbox with my merchant token and secret it works. Using all of my info on my site with a dummy cc# (5555555555554444) gets a "ProcessInvalid signature received"

Hi Jason,

Your LIVE API key and secret will not work in our sandbox environment. To test your LIVE application, please ensure the following.

1. You must be using the API key and API secret shown in your "My APIs" page under your live app - "Graceland Authenticated"

2. Your application must call the api with the URL: https://api.payeezy.com/v1/transactions

Do let us know if that works.

Yeah, doing steps 1 and 2 is when I get the "ProcessInvalid signature received" error. Does live require using real cc#s?
