We have a new friend – Pivotal Software and you are going to like the things that will happen as a result of this friendship. Pivotal software announced their partnership with us at the Spring One conference held in Washington, DC on September 14. Pivotal software is the company behind popular products such as the “Spring framework” which is an application framework for Java and “Pivotal Cloud Foundry” which is a platform as a service. Hundreds of Pivotal customers and millions of spring developers use these products. Pivotal helps developers easily build scalable applications and now with a few extra clicks, Payeezy will help the developers accept payments in their applications.
A few exciting ideas will take form as a result of this partnership. Firstly, all customers and users of Pivotal will now have “Payeezy API” available as one of the services in the Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) marketplace. This means that as a PCF customer, you can deploy Payeezy as the payment service in your application with just a few clicks. Second, Payeezy APIs will soon be accessible to the massive community of Spring developers in an easy-to-consume package and will serve as the primary backend for “Spring Payments”.
