Sandbox testing of payment with payeezy/first-data forms.

Hi,

I am storing merchant id and token in my database.

I guess API Key and API Secret will be same for my all merchants so i am not keeping it.

I want to use this details in following way :

I want to keep an option to test account for all my merchants on my site where I will be redirected to a payeezy/first-data form to fill up dummy cardholder details and return back to my site with the success/failure response.

This option is just for testing and not actual payment.

I have tested the sample code given on payeezy,
but I was thinking of a platform/form where I can input cardholder details corresponding to a merchant, test and redirect back to my site.

Its a kind of sandbox testing, but with forms taking input and then redirecting to a given url.

Also let me know if I can view the dummy amount on payeezy/first-data or I guess I have to store the dummy amount in my DB after getting the successful response of payment.

Is there any way that I can achieve this, if yes then how ?

Regards,

Sanjay Chaudhary

Re: Sandbox testing of payment with payeezy/first-data forms.

Sanjay - I dont completely understand your requirement. Can you please elaborate with examples? But here are some general pointers.

1. Any transactions that you process with a real MID and token will be live.

2. For test transactions, you should be using "Acme Sock" as the merchant. This is a dummy account. The details are under the My Merchants tab under Sandbox.

3. If you are looking for a hosted payment form, please see this https://support.payeezy.com/hc/en-us/sections/200927229-Hosted-Checkout. This will redirect your users to a First Data hosted payment form and once the payment is complete, user will be redirected back to your website.

4. If you want to host your own checkout and payment page, then the redirect will also be handled on your end.
