Step after token generation

I am currently developing an android application. I have implemented the <payeezy.js> method and generated a token. But, I don't know what to do after that. Please help me over that with proper steps and some sample code.

Re: Step after token generation

Hi Manoj,

Payeezy.JS is a web browser based integration. I am confused when you say you have integrated it into the android application. Can you please elaborate?

In general, after you generate a token, you need to use the token to either do an authorize or purchase transaction. So, essentially you will need to implement this method: https://developer.payeezy.com/tokenbasedpayments/apis/post/transactions

You can implement this using any of our Direct API integration methods. The flow is as follows:

1. Use Payeezy.Js to call our Tokenize credit cards method. The method will replace the credit card with a token.

2. From the checkout page, after receiving the token from Payeezy, pass it on to your server (backend).

3. Use any of our server side libraries (or Direct API) to perform a token based transaction.

4. Optionally save the token in your database if you want to use it for future transactions for that customer.

Re: Step after token generation

Hi Rohit,

Regarding that topic, I was thinking of implementing payeezy.js on android platform because of the PCI compliance thing. I am currently hard coding the values on the web view page and generating a token. So , is it possible that i could pass the values from an android activity to a html web view page and then doing the payment by generating a token and submitting it to payeezy and within the process i could hide the html page on client side to maintain the user comfortable while using the application?

If the above case isn't possible, then please guide me how to use the android sdk and its integration into my application.

Thanks.

Re: Step after token generation

Hi Manoj,

It can be achieved in an easier fashion.

From your android application.

1. Tokenize credit cards by directly calling our "Tokenize credit cards" method. It is a simple HTTP GET request. - https://developer.payeezy.com/tokenizecreditcard/apis/get/securitytokens-1

2. Post token based payment transactions using the tokens - https://developer.payeezy.com/tokenbasedpayments/apis/post/transactions

Let me know if you have more questions.

Regards,

Rohit
